WESLEY SNIPES

For those who loved action films during the 90s and early 2000s, we bet you guys will instantly recognize Wesley Snipes. Snipes was discovered by scouts In 1985. His film debut was Wildcats, Snipes often played small roles in his early career. He’s most remembered for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character Blade in the blockbuster trilogy, the Blade film franchise. Aside from acting, he’s also a well-renowned martial artist, who started his training at a very young age of twelve.

Snipes has a 5th dan black belt in Shotokan Karate and a 2nd dan black belt in Hapkido. Also, Snipes founded a bodyguard company with friends to provide security services. He also has his own film and television company. Just like most stars out there, controversies caught up with him, and it struck a significant blow not only in Snipes’ career but in his personal affairs too. He had some issues with his financial and credit reports regarding his taxes and served a couple of years behind bars for it.
